Under London Bridge, Victoria, Australia

A hike along the beach at low tide produced this photograph captured underneath and within this rock formation, which is known as London Bridge.

The relentless surf washes around and through this stone span. Erosion by waves and wind has carved this stone bridge from solid rock. It will continue carving until only sand remains. In the interim we have a lovely sculpture to enjoy.

You can see an image of this same formation, captured from a higher vantage point on the shoreline at high tide, here. In that image the foreground rocks seen above are nearly submerged.
