Enough sunlight to grow grass penetrates the canopy here, making it an ideal home for kangaroos and wallabys, They feel safer in the forest than out in open fields or meadows, especially during daylight hours. Here they keep the grass neatly trimmed and make my walks infinitely more enjoyable.
