Extremely windy and cold weather with light rain and heavy clouds greeted us on this late September morning. It did not look like a morning for photography. Because anything can happen and often does, I found a location I had previously scouted and set up my camera anyway. I was happy and incredibly cold when warm sunlight began emerging through gaps between the clouds. Then I realized the clouds were preventing any of that nice light from being in my composition! I had to quickly change my location and compose a completely different photograph before the light faded. Tripping the camera's shutter between ferocious wind gusts netted a couple of sharp spur of the moment images. This is one of them.
