OSPREY Pandion haliaetus

In Greek mythology, Pandion, the king of Athens had 2 daughters who were turned into birds, one a nightingale and the other a swallow. Haliaetus is a combination of 2 Greek words, halos ( sea ) and aetos ( eagle ).
