Morning on the Sea

The sun rises late on a cold winter morning a few days before the solstice. The crashing waves roar and the vast environment dwarfs this black faced cormorant, who calmly preens and takes in the view from its rocky vantage point. It's a a typical morning along Victoria's rugged coastline.
