Monolyths at Sunrise

This photograph was made as the first light of the day strikes two enormous monolyths in the Utah desert. The difficult pre-dawn trip was made worthwhile by a brief but brilliant sunrise as a cold front moved in. The sky clouded over completely a short time after this photograph was taken.
