Middle North Falls, Silver Falls State Park, Oregon
The 106 foot tall Middle North Falls is funneled into a 5 foot (1.5 meters) wide
column of water by a narrow runnel in the bedrock during summer months. With
greater stream flow North Silver Creek sheets out across the 60-foot wide creek
bed and turns the falls into a broad curtain of water. In this view that broad
curtain is seen from the side. Silver Falls is the largest state park in Oregon.
Middle North Falls is one of 10 waterfalls that are situated along a scenic 8.7
mile trail.
