Early morning fog rolls through the Aire River enveloping the top of Hopetoun Falls. The rainforests and sheltered gullies of this region have a dense canopy of non-eucalypt tree species, climbers, broad-leafed shrubs, and tree ferns. These provide umbrellas of shade for a variety of ferns, shrubs, mosses and myriad of other life-forms.
