Gibbon River, Autumn

Autumn colors grasses and shrubs as the Gibbon River meanders through a meadow a few miles from its source in Grebe and Wolf Lakes. The Gibbon River is named for Colonel John Gibbon who participated in the 1872 Hayden Geological Survey of this region.
