Dystopian Lighthouse, American Desert

When I captured this photograph the scene in front of me looked apocalyptic.
It felt apocalyptic too because a fierce wind was blowing grit into my eyes. I hadn't yet named the photograph when I showed it to a
friend. I asked what he thought of it,
assuming he would make some comment about composition, sharpness,
or the like. Instead he said it looked like "some dystopian lighthouse
during one of those massive-wave Atlantic storms". Aside from proving he has
a better imagination, I could not think of a title that better captured what
I felt about the scene.
