Cyathea Falls is nearly hidden among large treeferns deep in some of last remaining rainforest in Victoria's Gippsland region. Nearly all of the 41,600 square kilometer (16,062 square miles) Gippsland region was originally covered with rainforest. Today all but a few small remnants have been destroyed by agriculture and logging.
