Long Billed Curlew, Seafood Dinner

The long billed curlew is America's largest shore bird. They breed in the
grasslands of the Great Plains and Great Basins. In winter some, like the one
shown in the photograph above, migrate to the coasts where they eat marine
crustaceans, invertebrates, and insects along tidal flats.
