Crystal Brook Falls plunges about 200 meters (656 feet) over the rim of a deep gorge. This photograph shows the waterfall on a clear day from a vantage point near the bottom of the gorge 2.2 km (1.4 miles) away. Getting close to the waterfall's base is impossible, at least for me, due to the extremely rugged, steep, and trailless terrain.

I previously posted views of the brink of this waterfall several times. The latest is a view looking down the waterfall from its brink. That photograph shows whe waterfall at a higher flow rate in winter, while this photograph was captured in about 20 months earlier in late spring. Due to the different season and sun position, it was impossible to recreate this photograph when the higher flow rate was present.
