Beehive Falls is a 25 meter (82 foot) high ephemeral waterfall. It is usually dry or nearly so, but the extra moisture keeps a patch of lush green foliage growing. With severe rains it can become a significant double waterfall. Unfortunately I discovered it two days after a heavy spring rain during the driest year in decades. By the time I got there the flow was quite weak, as seen in this exposure of slightly less than one second.
