This image shows a section of the incredibly steep eastern wall of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River. It was captured with a long lens from the opposite side of the canyon. The print is made in a style inspired by scroll paintings of similar terrain by the Chinese painter Fu Baoshi, who lived from 1904 to 1965. This print is made on on a warm mat surfaced cotton paper, which is very difficult to depict accurately online.
