Mesa Arch View, Canyonlands National Park

It is difficult to find a bad view in Canyonlands National Park, but this one is especially unique. The stone span of Mesa Arch is located slightly beyond the edge of the canyon rim. Because of this, the autumn sunrise illuminates it from beneath with warm light reflected from the canyon walls below. The effect lasts only a short time, but is quite amazing. Washer Woman Arch can be seen in the distance.
