Crystal Falls, Autumn, Wyoming

Cascade Creek drops 129 feet over Crystal Falls before joining the Yellowstone
River on a 692 mile journey to meet the
Missouri
River in North Dakota. From there the waters flow more than 2000 miles to
join the Mississippi River in
Missouri and eventually flow into the Gulf of Mexico. Warmed by sunlight,
the vast surface area of the Gulf evaporates tremendous quantities of water that
forms rain clouds, which begin the
water cycle all over again.
