This photograph was taken along the Colorado River on a fall evening when the weather was windy and unsettled. The tower of rain falling in the distance is illuminated by the sun shining through a break in the clouds, as is the top of the canyon wall. It was tremendously windy and keeping the camera still was quite a problem. The first few drops of rain were starting to fall at my location when the image was captured. |
