A section of the incredibly steep eastern wall of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River is shown in this image. It was captured with a long lens from the opposite side of the canyon. The print is made on a warm mat surfaced cotton paper in a style that was inspired by scroll paintings of similar terrain by the Chinese painter Fu Baoshi who lived from 1904 to 1965.
