Sunset at Willow Park
While driving back to town after a day of photography in Yellowstone National Park, the sky began to show dramatic colors of sunset. Not planning on shooting the sunset that day, we were in a less than ideal area, surrounded by mountains, ridges, and trees. I began looking for an opening in the roadside trees with an unobstructed view of a ridge on the far side of Willow Park. Finding one, I pulled off of the road and set up the camera and a 600mm lens. This took long enough that I got only two exposures, one correct, before the colors started fading.
