This New Mexico wilderness is a pathless barren land of fragile and oddly eroded stone and clay formations. It is not a land of grand first impressions. Many will find nothing but vastness and desolation here. Even those willing to explore will often find little more. This place reveals itself only to those who forget their expectations and learn how to see it.
