Panamint Dunes and Dry Lake, Death Valley National Park

Death Valley is a vast land of contrast where distances are deceiving. Although it looks as if it would take just a short walk to get to Panamint Dunes, the dunes are actually 8.5 miles away and one thousand feet higher than this vantage point.
