Toketee Falls, Umpqua River, Oregon

The North Umpqua River in Southern Oregon flows over beautiful Toketee Falls in a spectacular setting. Carved from ancient columnar basalt, the falls drops approximately 120 feet (36 meters) in two stages ending at a large pool. The 28 foot high upper fall is partly visible in this image. In the Chinook language, the word "toketee" means graceful.
