![]() Seneca Rocks Detail, West Virginia |
|
| This image shows part of the upper section of the impressive Seneca Rocks formation in eastern West Virginia. Brightly colored autumn leaves lend splashes of color to the white/gray Tuscarora quartzite rock, which rises nearly 900 feet above the North Fork River. The area was purchased by the federal government in 1969 and is now part of the Monongahela National Forest. | |
