Comforting Baby, Long-Tailed Macaque, Malaysia

Long-tailed macaques are common in a variety of habitats across southern Asia. They travel in large groups and are one of the most fearless monkeys that can be found. This mother and son were among the most photogenic and cooperative in their group. While photographing these macaques, other members of the group attempted antics such as throwing coconuts from high in a tree and urinating on the photographer.  Fortunately their aim was slightly off in both attempts.
