| Colorado's rugged San Juan Mountains offer some of the most spectacular views in the United States. The area was historically the site of many gold and silver mining camps that later became towns like Telluride, Silverton, and Ouray. There are many dirt back roads in these mountains, some with names as colorful as the views they offer. This image was photographed from beside one called "Last Dollar" near Telluride, Colorado. | |||
