Great Fountain Geyser, Yellowstone National Park
During part of each year the sun sets in a perfect position behind the Great Fountain Geyser in Yellowstone National Park. Still reflecting pools, hot water, cold air, and golden light combine to produce an incredible display at the Great Fountain Geyser in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. Eruptions occur at eight to twelve hour intervals, when hot water shoots over 100ft into the sky in a dramatic display of nature's power.
