Goblin Valley and Cloud
 
   
 

Storms in the desert can arise suddenly, literally out of the blue on a clear afternoon. Such was the case on this late afternoon just before sunset in Goblin Valley. The winds were fierce and gusting. This necessitated gripping and pressing down on the tripod during the exposure to dampen severe wind-caused vibration. Blowing sand made my work that evening even more interesting.
