Our prints are custom produced for your order. Our goal is to ship unframed prints within one week of receiving your order, however the time can vary based on our workload. If you have urgent delivery requirements, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate them. Please also see our business schedule for closures that could affect your order. How will my prints be shipped? We securely package your order and ship it by Federal Express or USPS Priority Mail. The transit time within the United States is typically three to five days. If you provide us with an email address, we will email your shipment tracking number to you shortly after your order ships. Yes. Clients returning items in new condition within sixty days of receipt will receive a full refund of their purchase price. Returns must be insured, properly packaged, traceable, and in new condition when they arrive at dmcPhoto.com. Please also see our client satisfaction statement. Print Stability Guarantee: If any print purchased from us should fade, discolor, or otherwise change in appearance due to age, dmcPhoto.com will replace the print upon its return to us. To qualify for this guarantee, prints must be mounted matted, and framed using only archival and acid-free materials, and displayed where the print is not exposed to direct sunlight. Is my information kept private? dmcPhoto.com treats all customer information as private and confidential. Our 4-ply mat board is of the highest quality offered by makers like Bainbridge. It is completely acid-free and comes in a wide array of colors. If you have a certain color scheme in mind, let us know in the "message to seller" space provided when you place your order. Otherwise we will double mat and frame your print in colors individually chosen by our framing professional to complement each image. Our 13"x19" prints are double matted with a total border of approximately three inches on all sides of the image. Smaller prints have a proportionately smaller border. Mat windows are bevel cut, or reverse-bevel cut when we feel the thin white line produced by the mat's core material detracts from the overall look of the piece. See an illustration of our standard offerings and read our page on Print Matting and Framing Basics for more information.
Since aluminum is the only truly archival framing material, our standard framed prints offer high quality Nielsen profile 25 aluminum frames. These frames present a smooth rounded profile on their front edge, complimenting the image without being obtrusive. Finishes are anodized or baked at high temperature so they emit no vapors. Please see an illustration of our standard offering, and read our page on Print Matting and Framing Basics for more information. Does dmcPhoto.com offer matting and framing options? We can accommodate nearly any custom matting and framing requirement. If your requirements are not covered by our standard offerings, please contact us for a quote. The cost of framing materials can vary widely. Please see the illustration of our standard offering, and read our page on Print Matting and Framing Basics for more information. What are "print size" and "image size"? "Print size" is the size of the paper on which the image is printed. We currently print on two paper sizes, 8.5"x11" and 13"x19". "Image size" is the actual size of the image on the paper. It is the largest size that will fit on the paper while maintaining the image aspect ratio (height to width) and allowing a border for printing and handling. We print our images as large as possible on the paper size selected. Our prints are offered in limited editions of between 50 and 750 signed and numbered prints. When you purchase any limited edition print you are assured no more than the number in the edition will ever exist, in all sizes combined.
