| Clear Fork Gorge is located in Ashland County, Ohio. Situated within the Mohican State Forest, it is home to an untouched tract of huge native white pines and eastern hemlocks that grow on the steep sides of the gorge wall. Clear Fork Gorge was designated a National Natural Landmark in 1970. The Clear Fork of the Mohican River, which flows through the gorge, is one of the finest canoeing rivers in Ohio. | |
